Vintage things are part of history, and they’re amazing parts of history because you can read vintage books and you can wear vintage clothes and through that you can experience history in ways that you can’t, and if you simply focus on making it “better” or making it “yours,” you are not only destroying this chance for yourself, but for everyone else.
